My parents asked me to go for lasik eye surgery (you have to be at least 21). It’s very tempting. Imagine, no more groping around for my spectacles every morning, all day fully breathable eyes, no hassle of wearing and cleaning contact lens, perfect vision all the time.. but they all come with a whopping price. My Dad asks every now and then why I haven’t made an appointment yet, but I imagine him slogging so hard everyday at work and didn’t have the heart to let him pay.
He can buy me a new computer though, seeing that it’s 3 times cheaper. Muahaha aye… hopeless daughter.

I’m enjoying school. ok.. I’ve always liked school, but to the extent of immensely entertained by my readings!? Next thing I know, I could be anticipating the exams. O.o what’s happening to me? I’m becoming my sister. Eyer…nevermind gtg..MTV!
OMG. This needs a post on its own. Freaking pretty.
Naked eyes, red spot. Binoculars, slightly larger red spot. Telescope, red DISK! ahh an actual disk!
My panda brand “made in China” telescope is incomparable to my Astronomy lecturer’s titanic telescope…it is modest, it shifts without cue, it doesn’t have complex navigating system and it is rusting. But I love it, I saw a disk. *beams* Totally made my day.
There is no board I know with the kind of diversity the protag board has. It’s one of the six(?) boards I’ve joined but it’s the only one I’m still going back to.

- Your earrings may be big, but it doesn’t mean you can’t lose them. I just realised I’m wearing only one earring, which by the way, can double up as a bangle. I wonder when and how did I lose the other one, and why didn’t I notice the disproportion earlier. :/
- Damn the working people, namely Joelle and Xinying, for getting the sudden urge to plan for cruises and such. Oh no, we can’t go 2 weeks earlier because I’m on my 3 months holiday, now we can!
- The date for Mid-term break is yet to be determined because as expected, NUS doesn’t like setting dates based on chronological order.
- The stupid school still refuses to give me a HRM module because I’ve got no more points left. I’m raiding a HRM tutorial tomorrow. You just watch.
- I’m broke. August Babies. Bleh. Spread out a bit people.
- I’m happy and enjoy writing in point form.
School: Pretty good…just gimme one more damn module you !@#$ school
Social Life: Better than usual
Happiness: Lacking
Schedule: Rather full
Spam: None today. It’s a miracle!
Family: Great as always
Love: Down in hell amidst raging fire!

Friday Five
1. How much time do you spend online each day?
One hour or so…depends on who is online.
2. What is your browser homepage set to?
http://dictionary.com
3. Do you use any instant messaging programs? If so, which one(s)?
MSN, ICQ and AIM. I hate the pop-ups. Why must they copy one another? That said, aim usually has the most interesting topics in its pop-up.
4. Where was your first webpage located?
In angelfire.. Sneak a peek here.
5. How long have you had your current website?
Registered in Jan 2002..I think.
Understanding the Universe is scary. The lecture hall was packed full of people but not a single farmiliar face. The topic is really fascinating though, not that I didn’t already know. I was once even more obsessed with Astronomy then I am with the Internet. I had sort of an observation diary to record what I saw, before you think too much about it, there is only two written pages *blushes*. But I used to stay for hours on end at my balcony, struggling rather fruitlessly with my telescope and star chart. Lost the hype after some time when I was sadly convinced that one can’t have a future with Astronomy in Singapore.
Everyone should go read it, puts you into perspective how small and insignificant you really are though you may act like an idiot believing the whole world revolves around you. I’m refering to myself actually.
And anyone who read but says that astro is not interesting must be locked up. It’s the most interesting topic ever, even more then hentai manga.
First lesson went relatively well. Went in, stroll right down to the middle and sat down before looking at the time and realised that I’m actually 20 minutes late. hehe
The introduction was quite pleasant. At least she didn’t mention anything to do with History of Japan, plus there would be a small section on Hentai Manga.
Then came the lecture break and I found the girl whom I knew would take this module. Thus started the usual twice annually bitching about the module allocation, some bimbo talk about colour contact lenses and then more. So before you knew it, lecture’s done. Muahaha
Now I’m again, the nerdette of computer labs, after a short nap at my friend’s hall. My next lesson is at four. Four whole hours of break in between! But what horrifies me the most is that I don’t think I can put any tutorial slots in between. Ahhh
Anyway, my next lesson is Ahem… Understanding the Universe! These days, being worldly-wise is not enough, *scorns* you think you are looking at the bigger picture, but it’s certainly not big enough! Muahaha! I heard from someone the topic is tough. I really hope minimal mathematics knowledge is required. I have cleanly forgotten everything. :/
Then later at nine I’m going to meet this girl who asked me at illusion if I’m interesting in shooting something. Since I’ve got nothing to do, since she’s a girl thus not as scary (I hope), since we are meeting at the mall near my place and since I am a bit interested after some friend actually got paid for shooting something. I’m going to find out more, but ask me to pay a cent and I’d leave.
Ling is finally up with a new layout! It’s really obvious that she put a lot of effort into it. Very impressive.
We ended up in Illusion after Chinablack refuses to let us in. *sobs* Damn the age limit. Some other options were out because one girl had to avoid being seen or risk getting pull back to newsroom to work. Illusion is not some place I’d go crazy over but it turned out to be rather fun.
In the darkness plus all the flashing lights to blur things up, I can’t really tell the difference Illusion has from its precedent occupant, Orange. More Retro hits I supposed.
I kept laughing out loud at the start of quite a number of sucky retro songs they play that any mambo fan would be quite insulted. I guess one thing good about retro is that its easier to dance to… because they pump up the base so much you dun need any sense of rhythm catch the beat. I have one VERY good and amusing example in mind but I don’t know the title.
I’ve been feeling very peevish for the past week. I can’t point out the reason, which makes me even more cranky. One night of clubbing brought my old self back a bit, or at least I’m no longer too concern over myself.
I was about to chuck this away until 3D studio max saved it. I’m trying to be less dependent on 3D because it was IMO overused, as are illustrations. Obviously, I can’t help it.
That purple flowery thing was made with Adobe Illustrator. Still can’t come up with a definate object, but an improvement from merlion girl no doubt.
This layout is titled After the Rain. Therefore, a lack of colours at pixelstars.net, the splash page for this layout. Somehow, I prefer that layout although I spent significantly less time on it. Sweet colours can be quite sickening if you look at it too much.
Another thing, the folio would be taking over my gallery. Till now, the amount of comments still increase steadily everyday. Ahaha there won’t be any soon.
Ok I’m going to get patriotic since National Day is coming. Here’s my retarded-but-still-damn-proud-of-Singapore campic. Meant to be sniggered at

Feeling down…
- One of my favourite Harry Potter character died.
- I’m having end-of-book withdrawal symtoms once again. Exactly like what happened after I finished the third and fourth book a year ago.
- My Dad returned the book I plan on reading before school starts.
- Predictably, school only allocated me 2 of 5 modules I bid for.
- Two zits on my nose. Rather painful kind.
- Had been nasty to people I care for.
- Planned to go swimming this afternoon to get myself a tan but it rained and now the Sun’s gone.
- I wish that I wouldn’t care about things too much, just like what I used to be like.

Feeling good…
- My close friend had a smashing birthday that made her quite euphoric and me quite happy for her.
- Met a lot of friends and relatives during the past weekend.
okie that’s all. Ahhh *miserable*
Anyway, Misery is a nice name isn’t it? Misery@joy.nu is kinda cool isn’t it?
Finished my book…but cuz of a certain Ling, I knew who died before I ought to. >:O
I would have to smack her the next time I see her.
Anyway, look at this. Evil.
