Riding the High Wave

November 17, 2006 Joy

Have been high on life that I was starting to get a bit jaded. Which is why it’s kinda hard imagining paradise or perpetual bliss that some religions talk about but anyhoo…there has been a lot of changes going on… good changes.

For example, being in back in school and learning, working, my family moving, meeting passionate and inspirational people, a hip hop gig coming up. And then there’s Bunniee. Hah ok never mind, you don’t need to know.

And yes, Britney’s back, sporting a very cute bob too. My hair’s at that annoying length of not here nor there where it’s neither long nor short. The length where your hair escapes the nook of your neck, creeps off your shoulders and grows out into something that defies all laws of gravity. But I must resist the urge to cut it into a bob again cuz it’ll be a ceaseless cycle. I’m not spending what’s left of my youth with a bob. Snore.

Anyway, one lady working in my company has Dr. Something on her name plate. Damn, I want one too. Dr Priscilla Liu, no Ms/Mrs/Mdm hints. Gosh, how enigmatic is that! Is Dr Liu young? Is Dr Liu married? Can Dr Liu be a guy? Is Dr Liu a crappy old fart? One can only wistfully dream, to do a PHD, school is advicing us to do a thesis instead of a critical inquiry project which I was planning to do. Then you’ll have to be good enough to be selected, by the time I’ve gain enough smarts to get a PHD, I’ll be a crappy old fart.

PS: I’m working again because my course is not as murderous as I thought it would be. Besides, some of the positive changes require me to save up more moolah. Yea I know I’m being super coy but hey, the Internet is dangerous.

PPS: My old NPCC mate got into Project Superstar. Liu Ruo Wen, support yea?
