Revisited websites of some my favorite illustrators few days ago and I’m delighted to see that Belle & Boo added some new illustrations that I’ve fallen head over heels in love with. They are too adorable! If I can draw, I’ll probably draw these.

Woodland creatures, tea parties, BUNNIES, pretty little girls, all sorts of whimsical things. I don’t know why I love illustrations so much, perhaps it was all those picture books I used to look at before I learn how to read. I remember many of them vividly, like a particular Goldilocks and the Three Bears storybook that I was so mesmerised with. But books are far harder to search (compared to cartoons), there were just too many, and since I can’t read at that time, I can only hope to chance upon them, like how I chanced upon the very hungry catepillar.
Offline, a lot of things are happening. Which it great, I don’t want to be stuck in a rut of daily umimportant trivials only to end up wondering where all my time went to.
Anyway, a post on my tattoo next. Gonna head off to bed soon. Nite all!
Vietnamese Food + StoneLoops (iPhone Game) is 1USD well spent + ION + DVF & YSL Opening Soon! + Montblanc’s Briefcase is Value for Money + Maccas Seaweed Shaker Fries + Cafe Del Mar + Bailey’s Comet is my 2nd favorite cocktail + Happy Birthday Joseph Tan + PP + HOUSE M.D Season 5 + Car Wash + Salmon and Codfish Dinner

Notes on Faves, inspired by the weekend: My favorite cocktail is Pink Russian. The Bailey’s Comet I tried in Cafe Del Mar comes pretty close, but I don’t think they followed the original recipe. My favorite store is Yves Saint Laurent because it’s not overly crowded, I received good service very single time, and more importantly, they don’t judge you! I can wear my flipflops and bedhead into the store and still be treated wonderfully. My TV series is House M.D. I use it to redeem me from other trashy shows I follow (The Hills, The City and Gossip Girl). Music of the moment, Broken Strings.
Oh the truth hurts and lies worse
How can I give anymore?
When I love you a little less than before
I think women in general cannot tolerate being lied to. This song doesn’t apply to me now, but consider it a warning. Pokes a certain woodland creature.
Everyone is waiting for Alice in Wonderland. I watched the trailer andI thought there were too much CGI, aren’t we all sick of them by now? But I think Johnny Depp will blow us away. Tips for Halloween, if you want to dress up as a character from Alice in Wonderland, do it this year before Hollywood stamp their character images into everyone’s head forever.
Just like how I am not able to read Harry Potter without seeing Daniel Radcliffe’s face. Zzz…
I admit not keeping up with the blog. Few words, not even proper sentences, mostly describing the weekends and I’d call it a day. There are many contents Starred (bookmarked feeds from my rss subsriptions). And since I’m sifting through them again. You know you’re getting the best.
I kept reminding myself I need to blog this, a little outdated but you really need to look at Chris Craymer‘s book on love, a book “essentially emotional rather than intellectual or fashion led.”.
This is for people in search of love and couples that tend to forget. Stop and live, stop to love.

I remember reading this blog entry by Scott Adams a long time ago. He mentioned that if you appear miserable, people around you are more inclined to help you, so that you can “level up” with them. Could be tiny ways, like gentler demeanour, positive words and so on. But the happier you appear to be, the more people (sometimes subconsciously) try to pull you down. Moral of the story, pretend to be miserable.
And therefore, this domain sucks.
On a different note, since I was considering my five year plan this morning on the way to work…. WHY is life so short! I find that very cruel! I’m gonna have ten years worth of blog entries soon. Where did all that time go!?

So we’ve finally tracked down this particular LokLok truck. My first LokLok visit and certainly not the last. I was hesitant on the grilled chicken backside initially, but my friends were raving about it so persistently, I had to take a bite. Then I was all whoa, pile them up lady boss, you grill them fabulous. Many many sticks of clams, assorted grilled meats, sausages, vegetables and a happy tummy later, I was appalled that the total bill added up to about five bucks per person.
…
We have robbed the LokLok Truck! And we are doing it again.

Rise and Shine, breakfast is here! Tanning with Mini Conettos and Bintang. Street food, Babi Guling, finally. Last minute shopping. To the Airport.
Pictures from Day 3 & 4
The dancers have made their appearances again. How I miss them all! The good old dancing days are sorely missed. Two groups are planning something this weekend, but I’ve got other plans already. Still, plenty of time and chances.
Still on the topic of friends. I know a friend who has always been criticizing a mutual friend behind her back, but she’s always lovely in front of her. I believe a real friend stabs you in the front, but that is besides the point. Seeing the flips, the masks and the strings she spins around people, I find it hard not to wonder if she’s doing the same thing to me.

I love my Bunny Chef, he’s so adorable and he smells scrumptious!
Last week, for our trip to JB, we brought sake and red wine with us. We were slurping up the salted egg crabs and licking our fingers clean when my friend leaned back, gave a sigh of satisfaction and said “This is what life is all about.”
I can’t help FEELING right about what he said.
I have thought about life, its meaning, the grand schemes and questions for the future… some of us are on the quest for spiritual enlightenment and so on… so it’s quite funny to see how little it took to cue me that I’m on the right track.
Crabs in JB was exactly where I want to be. And if you think that’s an easy place to be, it is not easy at all.
I’ve met people who cannot achieve any mental state of contentment at all. I feel sorry but I cannot empathize, so these are people best out of my life.
