The next 6 pages chronicle memories of 2009. Flipping through…

January started with parties and that became the theme of the year. Met Vivian Dawson who later became 2009 CLEO’s bachelor. He was lonely that night, and he came up to us to say hello. I think he should be pretty popular these days. Also, I had a bad perm and had to eventually chop of most of my long locks. I guess I saved a lot of water and time in the shower this year.

Fell in love with the iPhone in February. It was a Valentine’s gift and Bunny has been lamenting about his poor judgment ever since. Whenever we discuss about the wedding, he will remind me to ask my iPhone for his opinions because I’m so marrying it.

March. Johor Bahru!! Salted Eggs Crabs!!!

The arrival of Lexie, the bitch in April. Adopted Krysten Ritter as my style muse.

Visited abandoned places in May. The French Embassy was the first stop. There was also some drama about my skirt and legs which was fine until Mr Brown twittered about it, and I almost died.

Bali in June! July was spent hunting apartments and we found one more reason to love JB. Lok Lok! Experienced the magic of Woodneuk August also had a wonderful time with my sister in Bangkok.

September…..engaged! Bought the Olympus PEN EP1 and sold it. F1 Fever at Pit Grandstand. October arrived and I turned numerically older. November breezed by like it didn’t happen but surely it was during that period where the FLY girls got closer. Also, my family moved to a new place that got us tighter, literally and figuratively.

And December rolled along, I got real sick with HFMD but that was all over. Had a blast partying with my FLY girls almost every weekend!

What wasn’t really mentioned are the new friendships, renewed friendships, new passions, new lessons, new perspectives gained in 2009. What else can I say, it has been good.

Other News

  • I think I ate at least two tubs of ice-cream over the week.
  • Paul and Tiffany rented an apartment in the same Condo as Bunny. I foresee many boardgames nights for bored couples.
  • Do you know I rock at Monopoly? I always win for some strange reason. I have unexplained affinity with Mayfair and Parklane.
  • We’ve settled on the location for ROM.
  • I bought a Bridal magazine today to get me in the Chinese wedding mood. I don’t think it’s happening. It makes me physically tired just thinking about gowns/shoots/hotels/traditions/yumsengs…and the list goes on.

Flashing you some vain pictures stolen from Estrella.

HFMD

Weekend: Dragonfly + Boiler + Zealous Boys & Jealous Girls + Couple’s Retreat (2/5) + Storm Riders (I fell asleep) + La Cantina

I forgot the rest! Last weekend seems eons ago. I’m down with, get this, HFMD! I’ve been sick since Monday and merely midway through. The worse part is actually knowing how vunerable my immune system is. Time to start a fitness regime.

Since there are scores of ulcers at the back of my throat, I’m refraining from savoury food. Despite being a girl, I have time limited sweet tooth. I usually end my meal with a sweet dessert and end my dessert with something salty again. That’s a proper meal completion. So this is HELL!

Anyway, current photographer of the moment. Brandon Kidd.

Happy Christmas!

Moon lost her clutch and with it, 1.5k worth of stuff. Karma is looking for someone, somewhere. She always finds what she seeks. Give them double. I don’t like people messing around with my friends.

PS: I’m considering turning pescetarianism. I’m consolidating a list of food I cannot go without, but it’s getting a bit tricky. For example, I can easily live without pork, but not without Bak Chor Mee. How like that?

Birthday Dinner for Grandpa off the Singapore Shores, sailed by Sentosa Cove. We all want a bungalow in Sentosa Cove for Christmas, Santa please!

And on Saturday, we had steamboat for a party of five. Too much food, but the resultant soup was divine. I didn’t plan to party but my rolling tummy needed extra help with digestion. So off to Boiler we go… Johnny, Bunny and I.

Tragic on the dance floor. Update again.
